Do you celebrate yourself? Can you pause in your life when big things happen and you handle them well? Do you know how to celebrate yourself?
Today I want to talk about celebrating the wins in life. Whether big or small, we deserve to be celebrated! And you are your best cheerleader and oftentimes your worst critic. So what story are you telling yourself? Are you constantly judging yourself and telling yourself you need to do better? Are you telling yourself “you never do good enough”? Do you know how to recognize and validate when you do something really well?
I want you to know that it is so important to celebrate yourself! Your inner voice is the most listened-to voice that you have. We are constantly talking to ourselves. Whether you recognize it or not, we talk a lot to ourselves and we actually listen. What are the most common things you tell yourself? Do you believe you are good at what you do? Do you believe you have good intentions? When we can learn to change that inner critic to a cheerleader, we will have more confidence in ourselves. We will be braver to venture out to new things. We will be proud of ourselves and in return, be able to extend that to others.
Celebrating the small wins looks like,
Celebrating yourself doesn’t have to be getting the donut or the pedicure. It doesn’t have to look like this big extravagant thing and the celebration doesn’t have to be because you did a huge thing. It looks like finding the small things you do in your every day that you are proud of yourself for. Celebrating the small changes in how you see yourself or relate to others It’s celebrating you for being amazing. Not for striving. This builds your trust in yourself when you are excited about the ways you are growing. It also promotes more growth! You will build more confidence as you start to celebrate yourself.
